Balancing Technique & Support

Adult Ballet at Fresh Silhouette is designed for adults who want to improve technique, strength, balance and flexibility in a supportive, structured environment.

Whether you're completely new to ballet, returning after years away, or looking to continue developing existing skills, classes are designed to help you progress at your own pace. Training focuses on building strong foundations through progressive exercises, whilst encouraging confidence, body awareness and enjoyment of movement.

Unlike traditional ballet classes that focus solely on choreography, our approach incorporates equipment such as resistance bands, yoga balls and blocks to support strength, stability and technical development. The aim is not perfection, but helping each individual move better, feel stronger and continue learning in a way that works for them.

No previous dance experience is required—just a willingness to learn.

How We Train

Strong technique begins with strong foundations.

Adult Ballet at Fresh Silhouette combines traditional ballet training with practical conditioning exercises designed to improve strength, balance, stability and body awareness. Using equipment such as resistance bands, yoga balls and blocks, exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities while helping you develop greater control and confidence in movement.

Classes focus on understanding how your body moves rather than simply copying positions. This allows you to build technical skills safely and progressively while developing the strength and coordination needed to support them.

Whether you're working towards a better balance, improved posture, increased flexibility or simply wanting to move with greater confidence, every exercise has a purpose and contributes to your long-term development.
